The People's Republic of Hungary is led by János Kádár. The nation has faced recent instability, with a flag change made in 1987 due to popular demand. Many hoped the changes would go further, such as allowing free elections, but the autocratic government stayed in power. With aid from the Soviet Union, the instability was crushed. Ever since the Y2K War started, Hungary has mobilised due to the threat of NATO being much closer than ever as the German Civil War escalated.
