The Republic of Italy is a nation led by Massimo D'Alema. The nation has not seen many major events since the start of the Y2K war, although Italian volunteers did participate in the Saxony push. Italy has been reasonably stable, but internal fears have rose over if a mass Soviet invasion could escalate across Western Europe and potentially threaten Italian independence.
