Republic of Romania

The Republic of Romania is a nation led by Ion Illiescu. A revolt in 1985 led to a short conflict and eventual execution of former dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, with an emergency election being held and Ion Illiescu taking power. This also led to Romania's entrance into NATO. The Y2K War would quickly hit Romania, with Bulgarian forces invading to the north, Czechoslovakian forces invading to the west and Soviet forces invading to the east. Romania has managed to hold off, but the conflict has escalated with Bulgarian forces pushing to control the south.
