Republic of Korea

The Republic of Korea (South Korea) is a nation led by Kim Dae-jung. The nation has been in a constant state of warfare since the first Korean War, with only the DMZ preventing either side of Korea from fighting. The DMZ fell apart in 1999 after a North Korean who had reached South Korea ran through the border, and as each side began firing, North Korean forces began firing missiles at the warzone. Since then, North Korea has faced an invasion from North Korea, but South Korea has not fought with China yet, leaving many questioning the state of the war. South Korea has since withdrawn from the occupied areas of North Korea, maintaining the DMZ while Japan fought just across from it against China and North Korea.
